Top 10 Travel Goals 2019

I am not a best friend of the ‘New Year, New Me’ motto, but what I believe in is, going into a new year with a brand new plan. Writing out my goals for this new year, helps me to set my intention for the year ahead and gets me excited for what’s to come.  What a year 2018 has been and we are already in 2019! For this year, I have come up with the travel goals for myself.

  • Visit Iceland

Very first thing I plan to do this year is to go to Iceland and see Northern Lights. It has been my dream now for many, many years, but unfortunately I never got to visit. As I know, then best time to seen Northern Lights is from September to March, so I think the best time would be in February and giving myself a great Valentines gift 🙂 Also, Clickstay offers some AMAZING villas which is a dream come true, a bit pricy, but imagine looking at the Northern Lights right through your roof!

  • Visit Netherlands

Next thing I really really want to do this year is visit Amsterdam. This city has also been in my bucket list for ages and due to different reasons, I never got to travel there. So hopefully when the weather is warmer in Spring, I will be able to see Amsterdam with my friends and then go to the farm house for few nights and experience local living. I have found this beautiful farm house with a lake just in front of it.

    • Visit Austria

I am going to visit Austria this year and it is 100% confirmed! I have my best friend living there in Salzburg and this Villa in Salzburg mountains reminds me a home so much so just a chilling weekend with her and talking about our beautiful memories will be a dream come true.

    • Pay for an upgrade on a flight

I remember few years ago, I had accumulated so much points on British Airways that when my friends came over to London for Elizabeth’s Christening ceremony, I managed to upgrade all of their flights to business class on both ways, can you believe that? for 4 of my friends.. After I had no other points to upgrade for myself, but I really did not care as I know I have made them happy with something little and I really did not want to pay for myself. This year and for once I want to do an upgrade so I can also feel what it is like to travel in business class 🙂

    • Learn to pack like a professional

I mean, I finally want to be able to travel without holding hundreds of bags in hand. I have been watching lots of tutorials, but it is so hard to finally decide what to pack when you are travelling. I want to cut down the items I take on travels as I always return with gifts to friends and family.

    • Explore more of London

It is a shame when I see bloggers posting photos and videos from their London trips and finding out I have not even heard of those places existed. I want to visit more places in the city I have been living for ages and this is a MUST do this year.

    • Travel more with kids

I have been on a few trips with my little one as I am still breastfeeding her and it is easier for me to take her with me rather than just stop breastfeeding. This year I want to be able to travel with both kids together.

    • Visit Safari with kids

As I said, I had no idea of places even inside the UK, so I had recently found out that we have amazing Safari park not too far for kids and as soon as the weather is a bit warmer, we plan to go there as both girls love seeing animals and playing with them.

    • Get few travel chargers for my phone & new memory card

If you have known me for some time, you know that I always have problem of my phones dying no matter what, old or new. Taking pictures, being social, making videos, all is very hard to keep up with so most of the time I have my phone on. So I definitely need a proper remote chargers for travelling and at the same time I want to be able to charge my camera battery as well. Another important thing is a memory card for my camera as I always, always run out of space.

    • Get International sim-card

I want to be always able to be in contact with my kids and my family, as I can not relax without knowing where they are. Because of travels, I have been getting local sim-cards and then missing few important calls on my own number, so it is important for me to have a travel sim linked to my own number where I can always have internet connection and be able to make calls as well, this way I can also avoid crazy roaming charges!

Also, do not forget to check from thousands of villas in the cheapest prices below:

and yeah, bonus point here is to save money to be able to do all of the above 🙂

What are your travel goals for 2019? I can not wait to find out!

    Thank you for reading!

I would love to travel business class or first class, just once!! I have a brick for my portable charger but it is amazing and has kept us going for several days before now. Good luck in the competition
