Pretty Corners - My Top 5 Spring Perfumes

Spring is practically here. Whether you are focused on spring cleaning or spring flings, there’s no denying that the season is a time for everything new. First thing this means is that, we need to grab our favourite fragrances, leave the winter scents behind and switch up to everything fresh. So I went ahead and handpicked five best new scents for women to choose from. I hope you will like my picks.

First one in the list is my all time favourite Channel Allure. You might be like, how can you use the same perfume over and over again? Well, I love this so much that since first trying it over 5 years ago, I have been going back. Not because I do not like other perfumes, but this is just a smell that melts into my skin. So I went ahead picked myself another bottle, just in case, as I always want to be ”safe” in case I do not feel like another scent. 50ml will cost you £72.69.

Next up in the list is this Jo Malone Lime Basil & Mandarin. I have been hearing great things about Jo Malone in general, but for me it was a great new discovery. To be honest, temptation behind this perfume was the message that comes with it: ” This is the perfect fragrance for all independent men and women who live according to their own rules”. Perfect words right? This is an easy everyday wear unisex fragrance – for men and women. A bit pricy, but oh, so worth it! 100ml will cost you £96.90.

Another great discovery I made last week is Jean Paul Gaultier Scandal. I went up to my neighbour and asked which perfume was she wearing as I really liked the way she smelled whenever we met on the street. I was worried that it would not smell as good on me, but I was blown away as it really smells amazing on me too. This will cost you £49.95 for 50ml. Scandal is designed to break all cliches and is representing powerful and elegant women. The bottle itself is really cool. It is made of a transparent glass while the stopper is designed in the sculptural form of female legs in golden colour.

I could not wait to bring back one of my old favourites, Yves Saint Laurent Manifesto. I have reviewed YSL perfumes in the past, but this perfume has a special place in my heart as it was given to me as a gift from someone special years ago. I just ran across almost finished bottle on my perfume shelf and I thought it would be great idea to stock up. This will cost you £58.17 for 50ml. Manifesto is specially designed to attract attention of every man! This message is spot on!!! I have received so many complements wearing it.

The last, but not least is also one of my old favourites that I used to keep a little bottle in my bag all the time. The Paco Rabanne Ultraviolet for women. I remember one of my colleagues using it the mens version and I absolutely loved how he smelled it. I went and did some search and found this women version and fell in love straight after, since then, this is also one of my favourite perfumes of all time. This will cost you £51.99 in 50ml. This is specially designed for the modern, self-confident woman and is for both everyday wear and special occasions.
