Top Niche Perfumes You Need to Try This Autumn!

Do you remember when I wrote the post about my Autumn Wishlist for this season? I could not help but try some more products and with my birthday coming soon, I think I have spoiled myself (again) 🙂 please do not judge me, I love perfumes, if you are like me, you will understand what I’m talking about.

With autumn came also the time to choose a new, warmer fragrance. This time I decided to try Niche brands. They are very exceptional and extraordinary, you can be sure that no one else in your surroundings will smell like you. The fragrances of niche houses can almost never be seen in shops that sell mass fragrance production products, or in big department store chains. So how can we know which perfume is good for us without actually buying them? When I make an order online for my favourite perfumes or beauty products, I always try to get the samples or original, not known fragrances. Obtaining samples is a great way of getting to know more products in the market.

Niche perfumes brands have grown in number and in the past few years, there was a significant increase in the number of stores that sell these luxury fragrances. They exude an interesting and special kind of scent that is difficult to find. For me, they tell a story and evoke memories through your senses.

If you have not heard about the Alexandre.J The Collector: Black Muscs, Id suggest you to get a sample and try it. This is a unisex perfume, but in my opinion is more on the feminine side. It is perfect for every day wear or special occasions. Top notes are Lemon & Lime. The bottle itself is a piece of art, very elegant and I love looking at it, it stands like a black queen on top of my perfumes shelf among other perfumes and shadows everything around it! Mix between the Oriental desert and a French baroque architecture,  this collection of 6 fragrances evokes the a timeless journey, it is a magical place talking to everyone’s imagination. Very long lasting.

Another Niche perfume that everyone is talking about is Amouage Epic, which is super pricy, but has a story behind it that I fell in love straight away. Amouage Epic Eau de Parfum is inspired by a legendary aria from Turandot by the famous composer Puccini. According to legend, the composer buried the finished aria in the sand somewhere near the Silk Road. The legend also says that the last part of the aria was so difficult that no human could possibly sing it. The mysterious atmosphere of the Silk Road is faithfully captured in the Amouage Epic Eau de Parfum. The fragrance symbolises the road that has been crossed for centuries by caravans carrying silk and other precious goods for hundreds and hundreds of kilometres. Tea, gold, pearls and precious gems from China were exchanged for rare silver frankincense from Oman, a legendary land where the rare material which inspired the composition of the Epic Eau de Parfum is found. All the elements of the Silk Road are masterfully captured in the enchanting Epic fragrance. Cinnamon, together with delicate feminine accords of tea, geranium and jasmine, creates a beautiful harmony in the fragrance’s head and heart. The finale of the perfume brings an opulent combination of iris root, incense, musk, amber, agar wood and lignum vitae.

The bottles itself were designed to look like they are made out of a Royal jade of the Orient with some gold details. This is such an interesting creation.

I love the sound of The Collector. I’m a Black Opium kind of gal so I think I would like this by just looking at the bottle.

I’m eager for the weather to cool a little more for me to break out my warmer, spicier scents. I recently picked up Tolu by Ormonde Jayne and absolutely love it!

I haven’t tried them but the gifting season is approaching and they are great options. I can see the Royal jade of the Orient inspiration.
